We live in quite special times currently, due to coronavirus, we are stuck at home in self isolation and we have plenty of free time. So today, let’s look at some cool and inspiring things to do while you are at home:

1. Learn to enjoy the present moment
Many of us have a habit of hectic lifestyles, we love to run fast, multitask and swipe even faster. But now, we can learn to slow down and find the beauty of present moment again. What about enjoying the little things in life? For example, savouring the aroma of freshly made coffee while watching the sky in the window…The beauty is everywhere, so let’s take time to notice it.

2. Start your own blog
Have you been dreaming of writing your own blog or having your own Youtube channel for a long time? Well, this is the good time to start, as many people spend plenty of time online, your blog has many chances to be discovered and become popular very quickly.

3. Start reading a new, exciting book
It’s a great time to start reading. Maybe there is a book you’ve always wanted to read but didn’t have time? Well, it’s a great time to start losing yourself in fabulous new knowledge.

4. Learn to cook new dishes
We can’t constantly live on takeout foods, so what about learning new cooking skills? Online, there are so many easy to follow recipes and even video recipes for fabulously delicious dishes. So, what are you waiting for?

5. Start a home workout routine
When it comes to exercising, it’s not very easy to start, I feel you. But what if you think about all the benefits of having fit body and boosted energy levels that exercising can give you? There are so many videos on YouTube, you can start the journey to your new body in a couple of clicks.

6. What about a spa time at home?
Prepare beautiful bubble bath, some delicious snacks, scented candles and some face masks, and indulge in some amazing spa time at home. It will help you relax and you will feel like a new person in no time.

7. Play some board games
One of my favourite board games is chess, but there are so many other games that you can play at home. If you live alone, you can play them online with your loved ones or friends.

8. Music
You can do so many things with music, you can dance, sing or you can simply listen to it. Whatever you do, make sure it makes you feel good and boosts your mood.

9. Try new makeup looks
Well, this one is only for girls. Why not to have some fun trying out some new makeup looks? You might even discover new makeup products that you have in your drawers and might have forgotten about.

10. Learn a new language or a new skill
Learning new languages takes time and guess what, now we have plenty of it! Why not put it to good use by learning a new language, or if it’s not a language you are interested in, why not learn some new skill? There are so many online classes for languages and more.

11. Boost your immune system with green smoothies
Our immune system will be thankful for a boost and a great way to fortify it is to drink green smoothies in the morning. There are so many of them available online, but here is the recipe of one of my favourite green smoothies:

– 1 Frozen banana
– Handful of spinach
– 1 Teaspoon honey
– Half lemon (peeled)
– One cup of water
– 1 Tablespoon of Barley grass
– 1 Tablespoon of Wheat grass

12. Create amazing works of art
Home quarantine is a good time for doing something creative. Why not start painting? It’s a wonderful way to express yourself and the result might even amaze you!

13. Watch motivational videos on youtube
A good old motivation can come very handy in a current situation. Youtube is filled with good and inspiring videos that can help boost your mood and make you feel like you are ready to achieve anything.

14. Take time to write down your goals and dreams
Speaking about achievements…It’s a good time to dream about something amazing and inspiring. Write down your goals, aspirations and dreams. You can divide them into categories and set some timelines. Allow yourself to dream, like little children do and you will see how amazing it makes you feel!
Do you have other ideas of fun things to do while we are at home?
Stay happy!
