President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has emphasised the government’s purposeful strategic planning efforts to safeguard Ghana’s safety and security.
During his State of the Nation speech on Tuesday, February 27, he emphasised that Ghana has remained untouched by the extremism seen in adjacent countries thanks to rigorous planning.
Akufo-Addo reiterated his commitment to the well-being of the military forces and all security services, emphasising the deployment of resources to guarantee their preparedness.
He reassured the public about its current situation, saying, “Our nation is safe and secure.”
The President also recognised major improvements in the police force’s equipment and capabilities, emphasising that they are now more equipped than ever before.
Recognising the dangers faced by extremism in other regions of West Africa, Akufo-Addo warned against taking the country’s territorial integrity for granted, emphasising the importance of maintaining vigilant.
