The 71-year-old visually impaired man who is accused of killing his wife on Tuesday morning has been remanded into jail custody by the Nkawkaw Magistrate Court.
At the Kwahu West Municipality’s Abepotia, a suburb of Nkawkaw, George Mudor allegedly killed his wife after she threatened to file for divorce.
Prior to this heinous deed, George had a furious argument with his wife and accused her of being unappreciative after she made threats to leave him.
The defendant was released on his own recognisance after being arraigned before the Nkawkaw magistrate court presided over by His Lordship Isaac Adjei, and was ordered to appear again in two weeks while the police continued their investigations.
