The Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs praised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, for his significant contributions to various transformational efforts as Vice President.
The traditional leaders also praised Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Ghana and policies, throwing their support behind the Vice President.
Dr. Bawumia shared his vision for Ghana and explained policies in several areas that his government will adopt to overcome difficulties and move the country forward during a meeting in Goaso with the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs.
Following Dr. Bawumia’s speech, other traditional rulers spoke in favour of his policies and presidential campaign.
The first to speak was Nana Ansah Adu Baah, President of the Ahafo Regional House Chiefs, who praised Dr Bawumia’s humility while also expressing trust in his plans and capacity to reform the country as President.
“Dr. Bawumia’s humility and initiatives benefit the country and the next generation. I have no doubt that Bawumia means well for Ghana,” stated Nana Ansah Adu Baah, the Omanhene of Yamfo Traditional Area.
“The way he is humble is so admirable. I believe if he continues as our next President, it will be good for this country and the next generation. Let us help him and vote for him massively because he has good policies for this country. And his humility is really good for this country because it promotes peace and unity.”
The Omanhene of Hwediem, Traditional Area, Osuodumgya Barima Appiah Dwaah Boafo II, applauded Dr. Bawumia for his work and policies, as did the Omanhene of Kukuom, Traditional Area, Osahene Kweku Aterkyi II, who praised Dr. Bawumia for leading what he called a transformative digitalisation drive.
“I commend Vice President Bawumia for what he has been able to do with the digitalisation of our country. It is remarkable and very transformative- something which is helping the country, particularly the youth.”
Nana Adwoapo Dwamena Serwaa II, the Omanhemaa of Bechem Traditional Area, was also full of praise for Dr. Bawumia, claiming that he is “ordained to be the next President,” and that they will support him in realising his vision.
Nana Akwasi Bosompra, Goaso’s Omanhene I also praised the NPP Government for the many developmental projects that have sprung up in the Ahafo Region, particularly in Goaso, which he credited to the NPP Government’s construction of the new Ahafo Region.
