President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will begin a two-day working visit to the Volta Region today, September 12, 2022.
Akufo-Addo is expected to commission projects, examine ongoing ones, and meet with traditional leaders in the area.
President Akufo-Addo will attend the inauguration of the Ghana Bar Association Conference in Ho, today, September 12, followed by an interview on Stone City Radio.
He will subsequently travel to Kpeve to view the progress of the Eastern Corridor Road and the Agenda 111 Hospital Project, both of which are in the South Dayi Constituency.
To conclude the day’s events in Kpando, the President will meet with the chief of the Akpini Traditional Area and view the Steel Bridge construction.
The second day of the tour will commence with a visit to the 66 Artillery Regiment Military Barracks in Ho, and an inspection of the Ghana Secondary Cities Support program at the Ho Central Market.
The President will then travel to Aflao to dedicate the Aflao Community Day School in the Ketu South constituency.
After a courtesy call on the paramount chief of the Battor Traditional Area, he will go to the North Tongu constituency to commission the North Tongu District Magistrate Court, climaxing the President’s visit to the region.
