The Divisional Chief of Apremdo, Nana Egya Kwamena XI, has called on residents of the Kwesimintsim Constituency to rally behind the incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah, in the upcoming general election on December 7, 2024.
Speaking at a community engagement event dubbed Apremdo Connect, Nana Egya Kwamena XI commended Dr. Armah for his impactful developmental projects in the constituency. Notable among these is the rehabilitation of a 1.5-kilometer road, which had been in a deplorable state for years. “Now the road is motorable, and the people are happy,” he stated.
The chief also highlighted the MP’s donation of 500 bags of cement towards the construction of a community center, a project expected to benefit the entire community.
Nana Egya Kwamena XI urged constituents to vote for Dr. Armah, who is the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate, and the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. “As you vote for Dr. Bawumia on December 7, do not forget to vote for Dr. Prince Hamid Armah also,” he emphasized, noting that both candidates occupy the first position on their respective ballot papers.
In a related development, Nana Godzie Tsia VII, Chief of Mpatafo, also pledged support for Dr. Armah and Dr. Bawumia, expressing confidence that 90% of votes from his community would go to the NPP.
The endorsements from the traditional leaders underscore the growing support for Dr. Prince Hamid Armah as he seeks re-election, highlighting his track record of development in the Kwesimintsim Constituency.
