The Vice- President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has asked residents of Kwesimintsim Constituency to vote massively for President Nana Akufo- Addo and its Parliamentary Candidate, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah.
This follows a working visit to the Western region to cut sod for the construction of its first interchange at the PTC roundabout, as well as inspect ongoing projects. For the Kwesimintsim Constituency, he inspected a multi- purpose edifice which is to serve as offices for the Effia- Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly(EKMA) when completed.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Bawumia said that the government led by President Akufo- Addo has instituted measures to ameliorate the plights of Ghanaians, and asked that Ghanaians renew their mandate to do more for them.
“The Government of President Akufo- Addo has achieved so much in last three and a half years, and deserve four more years to do more for Ghanaians. We have implemented so many pro- poor policies like Free SHS, IDIF, One Constituency- One Million dollars, Planting for Food and Jobs among many others”.
He asked residents of Kwesimintsim Constituency to vote massively come December 7 to retain President Akufo- Addo, as well as its Parliamentary Candidate for the area, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah who is making his first- term bid as a legislator.
Dr. Bawumia cautioned residents against the temptation of voting ‘Skirt and Blouse’ in the upcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
“We do not want any ‘Skirt and Blouse’ in the December elections. And so we are voting for President Akufo- Addo for President and Dr. Armah as our next Member of Parliament for Kwesimintsim on December 7th, he added.
