In a move signaling a strategic vision for works and housing development, Member of Parliament for Kwesimintsim constituency in the Western region, Hon Dr. Prince Hamid Armah has taken on a new role as the Deputy Minister for Works and Housing.
This significant appointment comes after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo relieved some Ministers and Deputy Ministers of their portfolios in Government.
Dr. Armah is set to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, having previously served as the Acting Director General of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to driving positive change.
Dr. Prince Armah will assist the former Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who has been appointed as the Minister of Works and Housing.
Today, Wednesday, February 14th, the Presidency has enacted a comprehensive cabinet reshuffle to enhance governance efficiency and drive progress across critical sectors
The current reshuffle has affected around 13 ministers of state, including 10 cabinet members and 2 regional ministers.
