The Member of Parliament for Effia Constituency, Honourable Joseph Cudjoe yesterday visited Ghana’s football legend Windsor Kofi Abbrey at his residence in Takoradi. The former Black Stars winger has been unwell for a couple of months now.
The MP was accompanied by SWAG Executives led by President Kwabena Yeboah. Other members of the delegation were Charles Osei Assibey, Sometymer Otuo-Acheampong, Kofi Asare-Brako, Thomas Boakye-Agyemang, Ohene Brenya-Bampoe, Nathaniel Laryea, and George Kuntu Blankson.
Hon Joseph Cudjoe who also doubles as Deputy Minister of Energy in charge of Finance and Infrastructure had about an hour interaction with Abbrey during which both shared memories of football.
The deputy minister also donated an undisclosed amount of money to the former Asante Kotoko winger.
The 1982 AFCON winner also played for the two Sekondi clubs, Eleven Wise and Hasaacas.
