The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold its presidential primary on Saturday, May 13, 2023, to select a candidate for the 2024 elections.
It will also hold its parliamentary primary on the same day, NDC general secretary Fifi Kwetey told the media in Accra on Wednesday.
He stated that nominations will be accepted from February 22 to 24, 2023.
From March 20 to 22, 2023, forms will be submitted and filed.
The aspirants will be vetted from March 27 to 29, 2023.
Aspirants who have issues with the vetting process will have the opportunity to appeal from 30 March to 6 April 2023, prior to the main primaries on 13 May.
Parliamentary candidates will pay a non-refundable nomination fee of GHC5,000 and a filing fee of GHC40,000. Presidential candidates will pay a nomination fee of GHC30,000 and a filing fee of GHC500,000.
Female candidates and people with disabilities will be charged half of the approved fee.
