Theresa Kufuor, a former first lady, has reportedly passed away, according to information acquired by OilCity Radio.
According to reports, Mrs. Kufuor, née Mensah, died suddenly on October 1st, a Sunday at age 88.
Between January 7, 2001, to January 6, 2009, she served as First Lady of Ghana.
She assumed the role after her husband, after her spouse, John Agyekum Kufuor, succeeded Jerry John Rawlings as President of the Republic of Ghana.
Madam Theresa established the Mother to Child Community Development Foundation while serving as First Lady to aid in the correct development of children and to minimise illness transmission from mother to kid.
