The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed Chris Hughton’s appointment as the new head coach of Ghana’s Black Stars.
According to the GFA, the appointment of the 64-year-old is consistent with the organization’s mission to “continue with the project of building a formidable squad that started with Otto Addo in the lead-up to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament.”
According to a statement released by the GFA, Hughton will receive assistance from Coaches George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, who served as Otto Addo’s assistants at the recently concluded 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The GFA added that specifics regarding the contract’s duration and engagement terms will be made public when the time comes.
