Black Stars winger Samuel Owusu has made a donation of health products to Ghanaian clubs in the combating of the global pandemic novel coronavirus.
The Saudi Arabia based forward has donated 120 boxes of hand sanitizers to the Ghana Football Association to be shared among clubs in the country in the fight against the deadly disease.
The items were presented to the headquarters of the Ghana FA on Saturday through “The Owusu Project Foundation” CEO Patrick Akoto on behalf of the highly rated winger.
Premiership, Division One and Women’s Football teams will be the beneficiaries of these products as they all seek to prevent the widespread of the coronavirus.
Owusu who turns 24 on Saturday is having a decent season with Al-Fayha Club in the Saudi Arabia top-flight.
He has netted five goals and assisted one in 20 league appearances.
Owusu played a significant role for Ghana during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where the Black Stars reached the round of 16 losing on penalties to Tunisia.
