Ghanaian highlife artist Kofi Feelings has launched his eagerly awaited EP titled ‘Increase Your Feelings’.
This five-song collection highlights Kofi Feelings’ unique songwriting talent and deep musical understanding. The album includes tracks like “Abuja Lady,” “Go and Listen,” “Take It Easy,” “Adze bi No,” and “Ebe ye Kwa,” with production credits to Jake On Da Beatz and the famous sound engineer Zap Mallet.
The singer, known for his amazing writing skills, shows his versatility in this EP, moving from highlife music to afrobeats and afro-fusion.
In an interview, Kofi Feelings, who also writes gospel songs like ‘Confirm For Me’ by Sunshine Selina, shared that one of the songs, “Abuja Lady,” is about raising awareness for breast cancer.
He explained that the song was inspired by a relative who died from breast cancer.
“My song ‘Abuja Lady’ is meant to fight breast cancer because I saw a family member die from it. I believe women are significant and should be protected from diseases that harm them. That’s why I wrote this song,” he said.
He added, “Besides ‘Abuja Lady,’ which talks about breast cancer, there’s another song called ‘Take It Easy’ that advises young people to be careful and not rush into things that could hurt them.”
The ‘Akyemfo Driver’ songwriter also expressed his desire to become an ambassador for breast cancer awareness.
“I’m ready to be an ambassador against this deadly disease,” Feelings said during the interview.
Kofi Feelings promised fans great music, saying these tracks are unique, with some having a spiritual feel.
