Drivers and commuters on the La-Teshie-Accra road have been cautioned about an interruption in a traffic flow for the next three months.
According to the Department of Urban Roads’ Acting Director, Ing. James Amoo-Gottfried, the decision is necessary due to the construction of a new bridge over the Kpeshie Lagoon.
In a statement issued by the department, the project will take place between Thursday, September 15, and Thursday, December 15, 2022.
“There will be some interruption of traffic for 3 months, starting from Thursday 15th September 2022 to Thursday 15th December 2022 at the Kpeshie Lagoon (near Labadi Beach Hotel) on the La Beach road,” portion of the statement said.
In light of this, Ing. Amoo-Gottfried has requested vehicles to adhere to traffic control signs that will be erected at strategic spots along the road.
