After a successful campaign kick-off and visit to the Volta Region, John Dramani Mahama will go on a tour of the Bono East Region today, Friday, March 10, 2023.
Former President Mahama would visit all eleven seats in the region within two days to campaign directly and connect with National Democratic Congress (NDC) branch and local executives.
Mr. Mahama confirmed his decision to run in the NDC presidential primaries at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Ho, saying he is coming before the party’s delegates “in all humility, and in response to calls from my party and the generality of the people of Ghana, to offer myself, to serve this country and its people that I love so dearly.”
According to Mahama, the magnitude of the challenge before of him in leading the NDC to the 2024 elections is clear, “due to the extent of harm done to our country by this regime.”
The John Mahama Campaign will proceed from the Bono East Area to the Bono and Ahafo regions.
Mr. Mahama is being accompanied on the tour by the Convener of the John Mahama Campaign, Professor Joshua Alabi, former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, Campaign Spokesperson, Joyce Mogtari, former NDC appointees, former MPs, former Ambassadors, Regional, Constituency, and Branch Executives of the party.
