Inflation for the month of March 2023 has significantly decreased to 45.0 percent.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) data that the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) released on Wednesday reflected this.
According to the data, non-food inflation was at 40.6%, and food inflation was also 50.8%.
Government statistician Professor Samuel Kobina Annim stated that the Western North had the highest rate of inflation at the regional level, at 67.3 percent.
The Volta region had the lowest inflation with a rate of 25.6 percent
