Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has assured his fans in Ghana of delivering a show as a way to compensate them.
This follows Wizkid’s failure to show up at a much-talked-about concert in Accra on Saturday, December 10.
According to a tweet by the superstar, there were safety and production concerns “that prevented me from putting on a high-quality show that my fans deserve.”
Meanwhile, LiveHub Entertainment, the event promoter, has promised to refund all paid tickets after Wizkid failed to perform at his headline concert at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After the Nigerian superstar refused to attend the show, the fans were extremely disappointed in the organizers.
Wizkid, according to LiveHub Nation, violated his contractual obligations last night.
“We will issue FULL refunds to all who paid for tickets. Please send your barcode to [email protected],” the statement read.
