Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, a prospective flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will submit his candidature paperwork to the party’s headquarters on March 23 in order to compete in the May 13 primary elections.
A statement signed by Spokesperson for Dr. Duffuor, Antonio Edem Asinyo, explained that “The change in date from Wednesday to Thursday is in response to a request from the National Executive of the party to reschedule, due to the party’s True State of the Nation Address to be delivered by the Chairman, Johnson Aseidu Nketia today, Monday at the UPSA Auditorium at 2 pm.”
Mr. Asinyo said Dr. Kwabena Duffuor’s campaign team will be present at the presentation entreating all party faithful to attend the event.

PRESS RELEASE: Kwabena Duffuor to file nomination on Thursday
National Democratic Congress (NDC) aspiring presidential candidate, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, will submit his nomination to contest the flagbearer election at the party HQ on Thursday, 23rd day of March 2023 at 11.00 am
