The Minority Caucus will meet today to choose the next date for the group’s Occupy BoG demonstration, according to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu.
On Tuesday, October 3, thousands of people took to the streets to demand the resignation of the Governor of the Bank of Ghana and his two deputies for alleged mismanagement of the Central Bank.
The protest’s leadership refused to deliver their petition to the Bank’s Director of Security, who was delegated to receive it on behalf of the Governor.

In an interview with the media, Mr. Ablakwa restated the Minority’s position that the petition would only be presented to the Governor or his two deputies.
