A 22-year-old commercial motor rider is accused of fatally stabbing a fellow rider after they disagreed over who should pick up passengers first.
Residents of Dagbamatey in the Akatsi South Municipality are still reeling from the incident that happened on Friday, January 20, 2023.
The victim was allegedly stabbed by the suspect, Agorsor Christian, with a screwdriver after being able to pick up the passenger in front of him.
Agbesi Davor, age 33, passed away while en route to the Abor Sacred Heart Hospital.
The suspect is currently being held by the police and assisting with investigations, according to Rapheal Ahiable, an Assembly member representing the Avernorpedo Electoral Area.
