Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri and Majority Chief Whip, Hon Frank Annoh-Dompreh has revealed that the Revenue Administration Regulations, 2023, as well as several other financial bills, will be introduced in Parliament when it reconvenes on Tuesday, June 6.
The Customs (Amendment) Act, Income Tax (Amendment) Regulations, VAT (Amendment) Regulations, and Insurance Regulations, 2023 are the other Bills.
Members of Parliament will return to Parliament on June 6, 2023, following a break that began on March 31, 2023.
The Speaker of Parliament, Alban S. Bagbin, announced in a statement that the Second Meeting of the Third Session of the Eighth Parliament will begin at 10:00 a.m.
After passing the controversial three revenue bills presented to the House by the government in order to boost domestic revenue mobilisation, Parliament adjourned sine die for the Easter celebrations in March 2023.
