Former Sekondi Hasaacas, Asante Kotoko, Hearts Of Oak and Blackstars Defender Samuel Inkoom on Oil City Radio 95.9 disclosed what he thinks will take the Blackstars to qualify to the AFCON,
He mentioned, “Whenever a team is going into a tournament, it’s always important for the team to prepare very well by playing friendly matches and it’s good Blackstars have started playing high profile matches like Mexico and USA; for me I know it will help us to know our weakness ahead of the AFCON Tournament
The Coach wanted to give an opportunity to every player, therefore I want them to approach the game against USA just like they are playing a tournament”
” For me I believe everything is possible, the only thing we have to change is our mindset and attitude.
The entire playing body should know that this is the time they have to win something for the nation when it comes to football. Inkoom thinks Blackstars have the team to compete with others”
During our time there were disciplinary rules in the team, you can’t joke when Stephen Appiah, John Mensah, John Pinstil, Asamoah Gyan are around ; always we were focused both on and off the pitch.”
“Every country is capable of qualifying from the group but as Ghanaian I strongly believe with the talents we have right now, Ghana can qualify.
The team only needs our support Inkoom added on OIL CITY RADIO 95.9, Takoradi
