Thermal cameras used at the residence of Ghanaian football player Christian Atsu have confirmed that many people are still alive under the rubble of Turkey’s earthquakes.
According to Ajansspor, a Turkish media firm, the Hatay Renaissance is extremely crowded.
The demolished building was home to Cemal Kütahya and his family, Turkish handball player Taner Savut, Hatayspor’s sporting director Christian Atsu, and Christian Atsu.
People under the rubble are still being saved by rescue operations.
According to Turkish sports journalist Ekrem Konur, the building contained 250 apartments.
Nearly 20,000 people died in Turkey and Syria as a result of the terrible earthquakes on Monday.
Recep Tayyip Erdoan, the president of Turkey, referred to the earthquakes as “the disaster of the century” after they significantly damaged 10 provinces.
