Students at the University of Education Winneba (UEW) will stage another protest against the school’s administration today, Monday, October 10, 2022.
The students have been agitated since administration has not addressed their worries regarding their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
The school’s administration was given an October 7, 2022 deadline to resolve the unresolved issue, but they have yet to do so
The students have stated that they will demonstrate in order to have their issues addressed.
Furthermore, the upset students have stated that they will not take the tests scheduled for them this week.
“All they’re doing is frustrating us.” They’ve told us to retake the exam on Monday. We will not be taking the examinations. We would react if things are not done properly,” one of the impacted student told Media on the condition of anonymity.
Last Friday, students on the university’s Southern campus demonstrated to voice their outbursts.
Students have complained that their GPA records have not been updated by the school.
The uproar coincided with the students’ impending graduation in a few weeks.
In addition, the school is establishing a help center to receive complaints.
