A sod-cutting ceremony has been held for the construction of an ultra-modern Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound at Kwesimintsim Fie, in the Kwesimintsim constituency.
The ceremony took place yesterday, April 13, 2023.
In his brief remarks, the Member of Parliament for Kwesimintsim Constituency, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah, said that the CHPS compound when completed, will have male and female wards, a consulting room and will be fitted with modern healthcare delivery equipment to provide quality healthcare for constituents.
The project is expected to be completed within six months. According to Dr. Armah, the contractor has given his assurance of completing the project on schedule.
The occasion was graced by the Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable Kojo Acquah, the Chief of Kwesimintsim, Nana Egodzi Essoun III and the Assembly Member for Kwesimintsim, Honourable Perpetual Appiah.
