Seven people were allegedly killed on Monday, February 5, 2024, when a truck collided with a minibus [trotro] on the Amasaman-Nsawam section of the N6 highway in Greater Accra.
Three additional people survived the crash.
Due to the ongoing rebuilding of the Pokuase-Nsawam section of the N6 highway, the minibus driver is claimed to have slowed down at a pothole.
However, the vehicle pursuing it at high speed was unable to slow down.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle struck the minibus [trotro] from behind, killing the persons on board.
When eyewitnesses rescued the victims from the wrecked truck, they were unconscious.
