Dennis Miracles Aboagye has been appointed Director of Communications and Spokesperson for the 2024 Bawumia campaign team.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) stated this when introducing its campaign team for flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 elections.
Dr. Bawumia is the Campaign Chairman for the overall campaign coordinating committee, with Dan Botwe serving as the Strategist or Campaign Manager. Dr. Gideon Boako will serve as the party’s presidential candidate’s spokesperson.
Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, President Nana Akufo-Addo, Elizabeth Ohene, Joyce Aryee, Freddie Blay, Frema Osei Opare, and Stephen Ntim all serve on the campaign’s advisory board.
Dennis Miracles Aboagye, a presidential staffer with duties in Local Government and Decentralisation, also serves as the Executive Secretary of the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralisation.
His position as spokesperson for Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team underscores his important involvement in crafting the party’s communication strategy.
Miracles, with his significant political experience and outstanding communication abilities, is likely to play a critical role in driving the NPP campaign ahead of the 2024 National Election.
His political career has included acting as the Municipal Chief Executive for Akuapem North, holding executive positions at voting stations, and eventually becoming a Constituency Youth Organiser for the Akropong Constituency.
Miracles Aboagye also worked as the NPP’s campaign manager for the Akropong constituency in the 2008, 2012, and 2016 elections.
Aside from these duties, he actively participates as a patron of his political party at the local and regional levels, serving on regional and national committees and assisting with strategy formulation and implementation.
Dennis Miracles Aboagye graduated from the University of Ghana Legon with a degree in political science. He also possesses a chartered postgraduate diploma in marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and is a chartered marketer with the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana–CIMG.
