GOIL has contributed GHC100,000 towards the 5th-anniversary celebration of the Stutterers’ Clinic Project.
The donation made on July 15, 2022, is aimed to encourage parents of stutterers to prepare their children for the arrival of the stutterers’ inclusion program train in their communities.
The program guides pupils with such challenges through various speech rudiments and special educational models to help them integrate into and effectively participate in classroom activities, as well as build their confidence to pursue their dreams.
The lead facilitator for the stutterers’ inclusion programme for mainstream schools (SCIPROMS), Barbara Afia Class-Peter expressed gratitude to GOIL after the donation exercise.
According to GOIL’s spokesperson, Robert Kyere, their gesture is part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR), and it is their goal to always help the underprivileged.
