In an effort to represent the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the party’s flagbearer in the general elections of 2024, former president Mahama launched his campaign today.
‘Building the Ghana we want together’ is the slogan for Mr. Mahama’s 2024 campaign.
Along with the former president, other candidates include a 43-year-old British businessman named Ernest Kobeah, Kojo Bonsu, a former mayor of Kumasi, and Dr. Kwabena Duffour, a former finance minister.
On May 13, 2023, the party is expected to hold its presidential primaries.
John Mahama plans to re-run for president in the 2024 elections after losing the previous two in 2016 and 2020.
However, the former President is certain that he possesses the skills necessary to help the country out of its current economic crisis.
