President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Air Vice Marshal Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe Chief of Air Staff, with immediate effect (26 January 2023).
According to a statement issued by the President’s Office on Thursday, his predecessor, Air Vice Marshal Frank Hanson, has completed his “tour of duty” and has retired from the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
As a result, President Akufo-Addo thanked the former Chief of Air Staff for his dedicated and meritorious service to the Ghana Armed Forces and the nation and wished him well in his retirement.
