The National Hajj Board has been reconstituted by President Akufo-Addo.
Ben Abdallah Banda, a former Offinso South legislator, has been appointed as the board’s new chairman.
Akufo-Addo re-establishes the Hajj Board, with Ben Abdallah Banda leading the new team.
Ben Abdallah Banda is the new Chairman of the Hajj Board.
He is currently the Presidential Coordinator for the Development of Zongo and Inner-Cities.
Alhaji Banda takes over from former Chairman, Sheikh Ibrahim Cudjoe (I.C.) Quaye.
The Board, which is a division of the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s Pilgrims Affairs Office, oversees Ghanaian Muslims’ participation in the annual Hajj Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
