Former president John Mahama criticized the government for being unable to complete a single hospital as part of the Agenda 111 projects.
With the deadly coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic in full swing, President Akufo-Addo pledged in April 2020 to fund the country’s hospital projects under Agenda 111.
According to the government, the project will, among other things, design, purchase, build, and commission six regional hospitals and 101 district hospitals for the newly established regions.
Mahama described the situation as troubling and emphasized that the government needed to treat Ghanaians seriously.
