The Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, is set to give a lecture on policing, today, August 11, 2022, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
The event dubbed: “The changing face of policing in Ghana: expectations and the role of the university community,” expected to take audiences through the past, present, and future of the police force.
Dr. Dampare will also discuss the numerous steps made by his forebears to increase security in the nation.

The IGP will share with the audience his goals for the police department and his expectations of the general public.
The university invited the IGP to give the first lecture of its kind by an IGP.
It is scheduled to take place at 4pm today.
