Asamoah’s best football days were with Juventus, where he won the Serie A six times and the Coppa Italia four times.
He was also a member of the Juventus teams who reached the UEFA Champions League finals in 2014 and 2017, losing to Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively.
He left Juventus in 2018 to join Inter Milan, where he spent two seasons before joining Cagliari in 2020. He appeared 74 times for Ghana’s Black Stars and was a member of the national squad at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
