The case concerning the gruesome murder of two people in Mankessim has been adjourned again by a Cape Coast District Court.
The decision, according to the court, is to give the police ample time to perform their investigations into the instances.
The three suspects in the Mankessim murder case appeared in court for the second time today, October 4, 2022.
They were charged with a murder plot and murder in violation of Section 46 of the Criminal and Other Offences Act of 1980. (Act 29).
On September 22, 2022, a Cape Coast District Court heard an initial hearing involving the suspected murder of Georgina Asor Botchwey, an aspiring trainee nurse.
However, further police investigations into that case revealed that the suspects had murdered another person.
Gloria Yeboah, the second victim, was a tiny shopkeeper from Obokrom in Kumasi who went missing in June 2022 after leaving home on a trip overseas.
The suspects later murdered her.
The three have been remanded in police custody and are scheduled to appear in court again on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
