Dr. Prince Hamid Armah, an NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Kwesimintsim and the Executive Secretary of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, yesterday, distributed some items including Veronica buckets, bowls, sanitizers, liquid soap and tissues to some markets, lorry stations, police stations and health centres in Kwesimintsim Constituency.
According to Dr. Armah, these items were to help in the fight against Covid-19, as the world continues to see a surge in infections. He, however, was quick to note that Ghana’s case was relatively low attributing it to continued vigilance by the authorities, as any escalation in the numbers could overwhelm us.
In addition, during the presentation of the items, Dr. Armah stressed the need to maintain the highest forms of hygiene in complementing government’s announced measures, and the need to support one another through this difficult times. He was pleased to see the wonderful display of community spirit displayed by the citizenry in the face of this national challenge.
