Solomon Doga, a phone repairer, has on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, been sentenced to 14 years in prison in Accra for posting naked photos of a Lebanese client on social media against her will.
Doga, 22, was sentenced by a court in Adenta after pleading guilty to charges of sexual extortion and sharing intimate images without consent.
According to State Prosecutor Chief Inspector Maxwell Lanyo, the young man was hired to unlock the phone of a Lebanese woman living in Accra.
Doga illegally accessed and retrieved her intimate photos during the process.
Later, the young man tried to blackmail her by threatening to publish her naked photos unless she paid him an undisclosed sum of money, but she refused and blocked him.
Doga then posted naked photos of her on social media, leading to his arrest and incarceration.
