Dr. Prince H. Armah Foundation(DPHA) in collaboration with the Aseda Foundation has today started a three- day Vocational Training Programme for constituents of Kwesimintsim.
The programme is expected to see participants acquire hands-ons vocational skills to enable them develop self- employable skills in order for them to create their own businesses.
The training modules for the programme include: make-up artistry, bead making, soap and detergent making, decorations among many others.
Speaking on a tour of the training programme which is being held at the Kwesimintsim Durbar Grounds, Dr. Armah reiterated his drive of making vocational training and entrepreneurship one of his prime focus areas as the next Member of Parliament.
He further stated that the acquisition of vocational skills is the surest panacea in curbing the unemployment menace confronting the nation.
