The Western Region has recorded forty-three (43) news cases of COVID-19 taking its total now to 395 from a previous figure of 352.
This was contained in the latest figures released on the Ghana Health Service Website today {29th May, 2020}.
In the latest update report, Ghana’s case count now stands at 7,616, with 5,161 actives cases, 2,421 recoveries and 34 deaths.

The data revealed that the Greater Accra region(5,331 cases) still leads, followed by the Ashanti (1,160 cases), Western(395 cases) and Central (376 cases) regions; as the four regions with high numbers of COVID-19 infections.
